Why Empower Punjab ?
Punjab's literacy rate in 2024 stands at 83.7%, ranking 14th in all of India. This is a stark contrast to the era of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, when Punjab boasted one of the highest literacy rates in the nation.
Today, we see a high number of students dropping out of school, leading to issues like illegal migration, drug abuse, and the continued marginalization of girls who are married off young instead of receiving an education.
